A uniform variety that tolerates well increased density (over 40,000 plants/ha), producing compact, spherical heads of about 4.4 - 5.5 lbs (2-2.5 kg). Ideal for supermarkets. At standard density (about 30 000 plants/ha) it grows up to 7.7 lbs (3.5 kg). Ramenos has a very strong wax cover, protecting it from Thrips infestation in the field. This cabbage tolerates summer heat well and reaches harvesting maturity in 145 days from planting. It is resistant to Xanthomonas (IR).
