One of the earliest varieties on the market. Vegetation period of 52-57 days. Especially recommended for growing in tunnels and under flat covers.
Early with large heads. In comparable growing time, it produces heads 200-300 g heavier than market standards.
Highly tolerant to vernalisation; does not form pointy heads. Constable has high resistance to cracking in the field; excellent quality; intense colour and gloss.
Preferred by supermarkets and stock markets.
