An early variety in intense red colour, for the field growing.
Produces very fleshy and heavy fruit – 250-280 g.
Resistant to micro cracking.
Very high yields. Compact plants; fruit well covered.
Requires higher fertilisation, especially when fruit is being formed (post fertilisation).
Recommended density: 27-30 thousand plants/ha. Chouca produced high crop in a variety of soil types.
Robust. Reliable for growing in the field. Crop suitable for processing.
