This variety is great for pickles. Produces very good yield. Forms very large, flattened heads of a perfect internal structure. Recommended for salads and pickles. Leaves are very thin, white, with a short core. Due to its strong root system, it performs well even in poor conditions. Newton is a variety with an excellent field health; resistant to Xanthomonas (IR).
