This is a Rijnsburger type variety with a vegetation period between Centro and Dormo, intended for very long storage.

Spherical bulbs with firm, hard skin. Plants with a well developed root system and strong vigour. Chives are erect and strong.

Firmo is renown for a very high yield of round bulbs with a thin, well closed neck and high quality skin. Recommended sowing rate about 3.2-3.8 units/ha.
